Description

The MiVoice Business system generates a system alarm if a link goes down on the Controller (EX controller only).

Alarm Status

The major threshold is 50.

Possible Cause	Corrective Action
The gateway trunk links are down. A trunk cable of the controller may be disconnected.	Use the ALARMS maintenance command to get the list of alarms and their categories. Look for the Gateway Link alarm category, and verify the Unavailable percentage against the alarm threshold percentages to determine the alarm level. If the alarm level is Major, verify and ensure that the trunk cables of the EX controller are properly connected. You can use the SET THRESHOLDS GATEWAY TRUNKS maintenance command to change the alarm thresholds for the gateway link.
